Generally, the standard cost of plating includes basic repair charges. Special circumstances may require additional services that will better fit your needs. Please take a look at the following information to determine if your item requires any special services.

Repair Pricing Information (excluding Sterling Silver)

Repair Charges for Items Which Require Replating
1. All silver replating prices INCLUDE Free dent removal and straightening.
2. Standard repair charge (regardless of how extensive) on any piece that we silverplate is $29.95 per piece (does not include new parts).

Repair Charges For Items Where No Plating Is Required (excluding Sterling Silver)

1. Dent removal and straightening is $29.95 per piece.
2. Additional repairs, i.e. soldering, regardless of how extensive (does not include new parts) are $36.95 per piece.

NOTE: We recommend replating after any repair to ensure the finest possible job. The prices listed above are for most standard repairs. If items are in extremely poor condition and require unusually extensive repairs, we will advise you of the cost before processing.

Sterling Silver Repairs

We can also repair twisted and broken sterling, including weighted pieces. Because these repairs are very difficult, we recommend you send them to us for an estimate. For more information about Sterling Silver Pricing, check our pricing guide.

Add 10% to the silverplating price. Minimum charge of $15.00. Sorry, lacquer coating is not covered under our 25-year warranty.

Polishing Only

For sterling silver, pewter, brass or copper - deduct 50% from the regular replating price.

Additional Types of Plating (Copper, Nickel, Brass, or Gold)

For copper or nickel, deduct 10% from silverplating price. For gold plating, add 100% to the silverplating price. For brass plating, send items in for free estimate.
